My vacation to Australia

A few months ago, Sara and I were looking on the internet to book some flights to Boston.  We saw an ad for cheap flights to Australia, clicked on it, and before we knew it - had decided to head to the Land Down Under for a couple of weeks of vacation!  

It turned out to be great timing - we got engaged a few weeks before the trip, and so it ended up being a great break for us to enjoy things.  We traveled all over for two weeks, hitting up some great spots like Byron Bay, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Fraser Island, and the Whitsunday's.  I even booked a a wedding while I was down there, so I'll be heading back in December!  

Here are some of my favorite pictures from the trip.  Unfortunately I don't have any of the people pictures - those are all on Sara's camera :)  But the landscape photography should do for now!

We spent 3 days and 2 nights sailing on a racing boat through the gorgeous Whitsunday Islands.  On an ex-racing boat, it was certainly a good sail :)  Towards the end of the trip, we each got a chance to steer ourselves.  Here is one of the other travelers we sailed with.
